POST INJURIES WORKOUT
Doesn’t matter if you have been working out your whole life or if you have never worked out before, getting over an injury and starting workout is equally challenging for everyone. Obviously, the nature of injury is significant in deciding the recovery period and future feasibility of working out. Going through an injury can drain you physically and also take away your motivation for fitness. But, you need to remember that you are not alone in this and there are several ways to get help, if you just seek for it.
At Fitness Trainers, we have multiple clients who started working out post injuries with our trainer and are now living healthier life. Many of us struggle to find the right routine to get back to fitness. So, here are some of the tips from our head personal trainer who has been training for over 13 years, to help you start off your journey.
1. Medical clearance
One thing you must follow is to check with your doctor before you start any workout. At Fitness Trainers, this is a fundamental step before we start session with any client. It is important to know that medical clearance has to be from your doctor and not just by your gut feeling that you are okay. A small mistake like this can impact badly on your recovery process.
2. Personal Trainer
When you have your clearance and you can start working out now, it is recommended to workout with a professional. Since we all don’t have enough experience with how to deal with body post injuries, it is much safer and efficient to have a personal trainer to guide you. A personal trainer will be completely dedicated to you and ensure a great result. Also it is really helpful to always be communicating with your trainer, so that he can help you better.
3. Eat healthy food
While good diet is important for every individual who is trying to get in shape, for people with injuries, it is even more important to have a good healthy diet. It will help you get the strength to exercise and also speed up your recovery.
4. Go easy and have patience
The most important thing is to remember and accept your injury. If you try to push yourself too much, you’ll end up making it worse. You will get fit and healthy again, all you need is a little bit of patience till you are fully recovered. Post clearance too, take your time and go slow and steady. Even professional athletes and trainers, don’t go back to their old routine immediately after injuries. So just listen to your body, and go easy on it.
5. Stretches
Stretches are highly beneficial post injury as it stops your muscles from getting immobilized. While your body is not fully in a state to take heavy activities, you can always find some stretches suitable to your body state. So try and start your journey with few stretches everyday.
All these tips have worked well for many to recover successfully and get in their best shape and fitness level. All you need to do is stay motivated and seek for right help. Leave your number here or contact us for a free trial session and consulting with one of the best trainers in Dubai.
