Since childhood we have been hearing the benefits of waking up early to lead a happy and healthy life. One simple yet powerful quote we all must have heard
‘Early to bed and early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise’- Benjamin Franklin
Our personal trainers highlight how early morning sessions are probably one of the best sessions. Though there is no right or wrong timing for working out, doing so in early morning gives the best result to you for multiple reasons. Having a morning routine is more than just working out. A morning routine can consist of just effective 30 minutes, if you have a very busy morning schedule. Here are some of the tips from our fitness experts to kick off your day in healthy and happy way.
1. No to social media
Social media has become such integral part of our life and many of us look at our Facebook or Instagram etc, first thing in the morning. However, you shouldn’t distract your mind with social media right after waking up. Make a routine to not to look at social media for at least an hour or so post waking up.
2. Simple stretches
Morning is the best time to do stretches and get higher flexibility. Just do simple neck, arm and back stretches, which you can actually do at your bed itself.
Before you complain that you don’t have so much spare time in the morning, a good meditation doesn’t necessarily need to be an hour long or so. A good 15-minute mind relaxation will work as well. Many successful people don’t start their day without listening to positive affirmations or focus meditations.
4. Plan your day
Failing to plan is planning to fail. Make sure you give some thought to how your day is going to look like. Make a list of all the things you want to achieve today and focus on that. Doing so will make your day highly productive and you would also get some spare time in hand to pick new hobbies or spend quality time with family.
5. Healthy breakfast
First meal of the day is the most important meal for you. Make sure to eat healthy in the morning. Your ideal breakfast must include more natural ingredients, so try to include more fruits, nuts, cereals etc in your breakfast instead of processed food.
So you see developing a good morning routine doesn’t mean too much effort or devoting too much time. You must invest in yourself to make sure you lead to a happy, healthy and successful life. Reach out to Fitness Trainers to ensure a complete fitness makeover!
